Air Terjun Sg. Bantang, Bekok

 

This amenity forest first established in 1989 and developed rapidly in 1990. This area lies within the Hutan Simpan Labis and was in Kompartmen 17 with the size of 210.93ha and Kompartment 18, the size of 156.28ha. The distance between Sungai Bantang's waterfall and Segamat town is about 64 kilometres and 8 kilometres from Pekan Bekok. The theme of "Your Outside Recreational Destination" has been introduced by the Segamat District Forest Department for camp and picnic purposes.

A variety of activities can be conducted, and among them are forest cross-country, jungle tracking, camp and picnic. If you are interested please contact:

Pusat Rekreasi Kolam Air Panas has its own unique advantages, whether in terms of recreation or in terms of medical benefits, as there are four pools in the Hot Spring Pool that can provide enjoyment for visitors to experience the pleasure of the Hot Spring Pool. In addition, Pusat Rekreasi Kolam Air Panas in Labis is one of the Hot Spring Pools found in the state of Johor. Therefore, the Hot Spring Pool can provide more enjoyment to visitors because it is different from other recreational places and attractions found in the state of Johor or even in Peninsular Malaysia.

Takah Merluh Kg. Tenang

 

Takah Merluh's waterfall is opened for all without any payment and suitable to be made as a campsite. Every year, there will always be a district and external district level picnic held here. Facilities prepared such as toilet, dressing room, rest hut, prayer hut, campsite and car parks. Travelling distance between Air dives Takah Merluh with Labis town is only 17km long. Takah Merluh's waterfall has been reserved as Hutan Simpan Labis.

Hutan Lipur Takah Merluh in Hutan Simpan Labis is a forest from a Hutan Dipterokarp Bukit type which possesses diverse flora and fauna. Here tourist can also go sightseeing as well as feast their eyes on the available wildlife in this area. 

Taman Negara Johor Endau-Rompin Selai

 

Established in 1993, the 48,905-ha Endau-Rompin (Johor) National Park is the largest protected area in the southern half of Peninsular Malaysia. This ancient rainforest realm in north-eastern Johor is a treasure trove of biodiversity, and a critical habitat so important for the survival of the country’s globally-threatened megafauna, including the Malayan Tiger, Malayan Tapir and Asian Elephant.

There are two official entry points to the park: the Peta entrance located along the eastern boundary in the district of Mersing, and the Selai entrance at the southwestern boundary in the district of Segamat.
